Laura’s interest in real estate goes back as far as she can remember. Her mother, Diane, was an exceptionally successful real estate agent in Boston and instilled in Laura not only a strong business sense, but more importantly, an authentic passion for helping others achieve their goals.
After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Northeastern University in Boston, Laura embarked on a successful career in finance, working with leading Fortune 500 companies including John Hancock Financial Services, where she met her husband. Seeking a warmer climate, the couple eventually moved to Atlanta and purchased an investment property in Ponte Vedra Beach, beginning a connection to the area that would ultimately change the course of their lives.
In 2016, with three children, Laura and her husband made Ponte Vedra Beach their permanent home, drawn to its coastal lifestyle, close-knit community and exceptional quality of life. Laura still lives in Ponte Vedra Beach today, and her three children attended local schools, giving her a firsthand understanding of the community from both a personal and professional perspective.
Laura met her business partner, Kim Bright, through their daughters, and the two quickly discovered that their strengths were a natural complement. Combining Laura’s business, finance and negotiation experience with Kim’s keen eye for design and staging, they created the Bright Bishop Group with Ponte Vedra Club Realty.
Today, Laura and Kim lead Bright Bishop Group, recognized as one of the top 10 small residential real estate teams in the area. Together, they have built their business around a highly personalized, service-driven approach that extends well beyond the transaction. From strategic marketing and negotiation to design, staging and preparing a property for market, their goal is to make buying and selling real estate as seamless and successful as possible.
